Nail Art: Something Blue for Summer

This nail art was on my nails two weeks ago but wasn't able to blog about it until now. I was too busy the past days.

Anyway, this nail art is called "Something Blue for Summer" basically because the nail polish and the design is blue.

For the base color I used Static Electricity by LA Colors. The same nail polish I used for the Blue Cupcake nail art I did before.

I only applied nail polish halfway of each nails then painted light blue flowers along the lines using acrylic paints.

Who did the the design turns out?

Very pretty and perfect for summer, right? I love it! Hope you do too.. :)

Swarovski Beaded Rosary Bracelet

I've been wanting to make a rosary bracelet but was not able to make one (until now) because of materials issue. I can't find a 14/20 gold filled or high quality gold plated crucifix, all I can find are made of silver just like the ones I used for the full length rosaries I made before.

But yesterday, I finally made my first  Swarovski Beaded Rosary Bracelet. I already gave up the idea of using ready-made crucifix. Instead I made my own beaded cross, using 4mm swarovski bicone beads.

The beaded cross turned out great for me, although I have difficulty in the assembly (needs more practice).

This bracelet rosary is approximately 8 inches in length using 10pcs 8mm swarovski round beads + 1 10mm swarovski round bead.

This bracelet is durable and will not easily break because like the rest of my creations I used thicker wire (6mm) to hold the beads together + a large spring lock to fasten.

Also this item comes with a cute pouch.

Nail Art: Spring Flowers

Although this nail art was made last December, the theme was more of a Spring. I wore this nail art in our Christmas Party but chose not to post it because I was doing a Christmas theme nail arts that month. And now that summer is here I want to share this nail art that I think is perfect for the season.

Brown is my favorite nail polish color and for this particular nail art I used, Revlon Top Speed Fast Dry Espresso.

Then I painted set of three flowers on every nail targetting the side part of the nail using white and yellow acrylic paints.

I had a longer nails that time so I was able to accommodate the three flowers.

This nail art really turned out pretty on my nails. No matter what flowers are still my favorite on my nails, there are always girly and dainty.

I'm planning to redo this nail art very soon, I'll wait for my nails to grow a bit. Meanwhile, I'm having a nail polish free nails for 4 days already. Maybe tonight, I'll paint my nails again. :)

Have a Nice Day!

Nail Art: Orange Planted Flowers

I wanted to make reviews of the two nail lacquers I recently purchased. Unfortunately the pictures didn't turn out well, the colors in the pictures were quite different compared to the actual. I admit I must set-up a proper lighting for nail swatches and nail arts pictorials to prevent the use of flash.

Today instead of showing to you the swatches, I'm sharing a dainty nail art that I made yesterday, one of my favorites, the floral designs.

For the base polish, I used OPI Vampire is a Buff.

I waited about an hour before painting the design on the nails using acrylic paints. Orange for the flowers and green for the stems + leaves.

The nail art for today is not purely flowers but with stems for a change, and the result did came out great.

What do you think? Dainty indeed right?

My First OPI Nail Lacquers + Seche Vite Top Coat

Last week these nail lacquers had arrived on my doorsteps. My first two bottles of OPI Nail Lacquers and Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

Bought these pretties thru Multiply at Digital Traincase. I have always wanted a Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. When I saw the online shop is giving 20% off on their items, I grabbed the opportunity get bottles for me .

Since, I'll be paying the shipping cost, and it's a waste to pay it with only one item in it, I decided to get my first two bottles of OPIs also. I chose Can't Let Go of Mariah Carey Liquid Sand Collection 2013 and My Vampire is a Buff of Euro Centrale Collection 2013.

I can't wait to see them on my nails..

Next post will be the swatches of Can't Let Go so watch out for it...
