Two Blogs Fused Into One

I've mentioned in my previous post of my plan to fuse two of my blogs the Nails and Kolours and this handmade blog, with primary reason to reduce the number of blogs to maintain and at the same time to cut-off domain purchase.

My concern was how to transfer all my posts + comments from the other blog to here. I thought I had to do it one by one but thank goodness Daddy Allan wrote about "how to transfer your blog to another", he did made the transfer journey an easy peasy task. Thanks You!

I'm still in the process of changing the blog layout. I have to do trial and error with the codes and all. I think by the end of the week I'll be able to complete the transformation.

  2. You did very well combining the two plus a good theme choice as well. I wanted to use a template with featured images as well, but I'm using Live Writer, so it doesn't come with that option. I wish to do it, probably in the future nalang.

  3. Yey! You did it sis. Ako nahuli ko na nalaman na pwede pala magtransfer ng ganun kadali. But I am planning pa din to re-do the transfer I made, sayang un mga old comments kasi. Anyway, my old craft site is still up pa naman :)

  5. The 'fusion' looks good, Janz! It will now be easy and convenient for your followers to browse your nail arts and beadworks.

  8. i think it's for the best that you combine both blogs. it'll be easier to monitor plus you get combined readers who can also be interested in both topics you're blogging about.

  10. thanks for appreciation by the way. ako din ung recipe blog ko, I transfered them manually sa other blog namin. Nung magdedelete nalang ako ng blog ko saka ko napansin na pwede pala import-export procedure. It was late already since I already deleted all the entries. kaya ung mga comments di na nakasama.

  12. I just noticed the change now. Did you made the layout yourself? I am actually looking forward to meet someone who can redesign my blog but every time I am asking a quote from them, they are not responding. Hahaha..

  13. I like the wordpress-inspired look of your new blogger lay out, sis. ang ganda! like what everybody else said, it's absolutely a wonderful idea combining both blogs into one, mas tipid sa domain and at the same time, you'll gain more followers since some who are interested in your nail art could also become interested in your bead works. and vice versa. nice idea! :-)
