Nail Polish: Bobbie Weng Weng

Aside from the nail polish remover that I bought yesterday, I also got myself one bottle of nail polish. Among the many colors, I picked Weng Weng of Bobbie's Holo-Prism Collection.

I particularly picked this one because I was attracted to it's dark gray color. I only have the one gray shade so far on my stash and this one is an addition.

I think this nail polish have been on the cosmetic stands for quite sometimes already, but I only noticed it yesterday. huh! :(

Too excited, I applied it on my nails last night.

taken at night with flash "on"

Bobbie Weng Weng is a dark shimmering creme nail polish. Those microglitters made this nail polish totally attractive. I have no problem with the application because it has good consistency.

Two thick coatings are enough but I still prefer a heavy color that is why I applied three thick
coatings on my nails.

This how it looks like without flash, taken at night.

And these are with flash "on".

This morning I photographed my nails outside the house and these are the results.

Bobbie Weng Weng is definitely one of my favorites.

Until next time. :)

Caronia Nail Polish Remover

As what Caronia brags about their Nail Polish Remover that it

"Removes nail polish fast without drying nails and cuticles. This acetone-based formulation is fortified with moisturizing ingredients to prevent drying and discoloration."

Well, I totally agree with it, this is so far my favorite nail polish remover because aside from the above mentioned, it also has a pleasant smell unlike others that has very strong smell.

I got these 2 bottles of Caronia Nail Polish Remover, at Gaisano City this afternoon. I bought extra just in case I run out of stock.

Happy Weekend! :)

Nail Polish: Etude House CBL601 and CPP501

Spending few hours at the mall while waiting for our return flight to Cagayan de Oro City from Davao City was worthwhile. Why? because I found these two cute candy like nail polishes from Etude House at Abreeza Mall, Davao City.

These two cuties are from the Etude House Look at My Candy Nails collection. Among the 10 colors (but not all were available at the store that time), I chose # CBL601 Catching Balloon on Sky (blue shade) and #CPP501 Look at Her (violet shade) with price tag of P98.00 each.

CBL601 Catching Balloon on Sky, is creme baby blue nail polish. I found it easy to apply on my nails because the consistency is good. With three (3) coats I got this candy looking baby blue nails.

CPP501 Look at Her for me, is a light amethyst creme nail polish that is so girly and cute (maybe because I just love anything purple), you can judge it yourself. I have no problem with the application as well, because it has good consistency. I always do my nails with three coats, and it looks so pretty.

I regret getting only these two, I should have bought the rest of the colors. But anyway, I can always ask my friend from Davao, to buy the rest for me. winks*

I promise to show them to you, as soon as I get them.  :)

Until next time!

Nail Art: Black & Red Flowers

I had these nail art on my nails for a week, a very simple design I painted intended for my trip to Davao City. I called them the small "Black and Red Flowers".

For the base color polish, I used Revlon's Stone Wash.

Acrylic paints were used for the design.

The more I paint flowers, I think I'm almost on mastering the technique. winks*

Quite satisfied with the design and and the nail polish I have used. It did stayed for a week without chipping.

Until next time...:)

Nail Art: Butterflies

I made this nail art on my nails last week but wasn't able to post it until today, and it is called Butterflies.

I tried my best to paint something that looks like butterflies, luckily I was able to do it. These nail arts are indeed butterflies, right?

For the base nail polish, I used Revlon's Hazy one of my online finds. A gray creme with thick consistency nail polish that is easy to apply and dries up so fast.

The butterflies were painted using acrylic paints.

Looks great but next time I should try a smaller version. :)

Nair Art: Blue Pinkish Gray Nails

Today I have a very simple nail art on my nails. A three color combination of nail colors diagonally differentiated from each other.

I used 2 different LA Colors nail lacquers for this. The Static Electricity (Blue) and Summertime (Pink) a very pretty combination for me.

What I like about LA these two nail polishes from LA Colors is that they dry up very fast.

The Gray Silver nail polish is from Sassy Color with nail art brush.

I love them! And it will definitely stay on my nails until Saturday. I hope to be able to visit the salon on Saturday, for nail pampering. :)

Nail Art: Paw Print

Wednesday last week, I finally was able to paint my nails again after six days of nail polish free nails because I was kind of infected by a dengue virus.Thank goodness it was a mild case for me, I was able to recover after four days of having below normal platelet counts.

My ordeal is over, I'm here again doing what I love to do on my nails. Polishing and Nail Art. I made a very simple nail art on my nails last Wednesday, and I only took this off a while ago. A paw print inspired nail art, very simple and easy to paint just by using different sizes of dotting tools.

For the base polish, I used my newly acquired Revlon Nail Polish called Stone Wash

I finished this task less than an hour because Revlon's Top Speed nail polish indeed dries up very fast.

I really love the outcome of this design, simple yet elegant.

What do you think?
